Sometimes, you don’t realize that the lies that you tell and the secrets that you keep poison you more than those you try to fool. They hang around you like smoke and it only gets thicker and thicker the more you do it. You do it anyway because you have become accustomed to it. You think it’s normal and you become comfortable in your smoke-filled bedroom. Slowly your lungs become heavy but you don’t mind it. However, there will come a time when you are just choking and suffocating. The only way to breathe? Step out of your polluted room and into the sunshine and breathe that sweet honest air. Stop hiding in the thick smoke; nobody can see you in there. And besides, it is for no one else’s good but yours.
