My face basks in it
The ice within melts
And a rose I become

Birds sing as I step out
Smiles I share as I walk past
For once, everything around
Is how it should be

Soaring notes take my spirit
Sweet laughter fills my ears
For just this day, evil is dead
And beauty is all around
